Proud Danish craftsmanship

Partners

The HX series from Schøtt-Tech was created through Peter's vision of developing the ultimate solution for the Volvo Penta D1 series. It is largely Peter who has devised and refined the concept behind the solid bronze heat exchangers.

Why it matters

It is thanks to this strong team of Danish experts that we can today present a solution that sets entirely new standards for durability and safety at sea.

I can drive down there

If anything goes wrong, I’ll be in the workshop myself the same week. Not a thread of emails across eight time zones.

Same people every time

It is not a random subcontractor per order. It is the same four workshops, batch after batch.

Traceable material

I know which foundry cast your house, and what alloy it was cast in.

Spare parts in 15 years

The molds are in Denmark. If I can have a house made today, I can also do it long after.

Personal recommendation

Engine mounts: this is why I use Ellebogen myself

At Schøtt-Tech, we recommend Ellebogen engine mounts. These engine mounts feature a unique rubber compound that significantly reduces the vibrations that small 3-cylinder marine engines are notorious for. After having to replace the engine mounts on my own Volvo Penta D1-30 engine, I initially chose a non-original, unknown product. The result was disappointing, and the engine was now sending very strong vibrations through the hull. After a short search online, I chose Ellebogen's incomparable engine mounts due to very positive tests and reviews. A product we can highly recommend.

We do not sell Ellebogen and earn nothing from the referral. Ellebogen is an independent manufacturer and not part of Schøtt-Tech’s production.
